when i was a kid growing up in miami beach, there were a few really cool places around. i vaguely remember the Luau. also, i used to hang out at the amazing pool at the Castaways where the Shinto Temple and the Wreck Bar were...great tiki action there. anyone remember Fu Manchu's towards the beach? they had a tre' cool bar where they served drinks in tiki mugs. is the Caves still around in Ft. Lauderdale? |
