New ESQUIVEL release forthcoming - Tiki Music

Esquivel literally changed my life...first heard him by chance almost 10 years ago at the local coffee shop, I asked the barista who he was. She told me that the owners never let her play Esquivel, but I happened in at that one moment when the owners were gone and she happened to have a hankerin for some esquivel. I went right out and bought all the Esquivel I could find, and sought out more of this kind of stuff from other artists, which led me to Martin Denny, Les Baxter, Ultra Lounges Exotica CD, and that led to...Tiki! Maybe it would have all come together some other way, but I often wonder what my life would be like now if not for my friend Stephanie's timely urge to listen to some forbidden Esquivel. Can't wait to hear this new release.
