I almost never post on this forum because I never find anything in Wisconsin worth showing. But yesterday my wife brought me back a gift from a thrift store that I thought you'd like to see, so I'm taking Humuhumu's advice and posting it on it's own thread.

It's a musical, hula dancing doll that she found at a thrift store for $2.92! Her hips swing and her whole body slowly spins to the tune of Aloha Oe. I got most of her hair unknotted (which if I'm not mistaken might be real), and I had to take her apart to fix the motor inside. All it needed was for me to take off a piece of that white, plastic skirt stuff that had gotten wrapped around a gear.

There is no names, dates, or any markings anywhere, so I don't know where she's from or how old it is. It might be from Hawaii in the 50's or it might be from Spencer's last week, I just don't know.
