Tiki-Bot's words may be harsh, but he's right. His photos should not have been used without credit. If it was just an oversight, Nick should apologize. If Nick thinks its OK to use other people's work as long as it's "promoting" something, he can get into a lot of trouble. I'm sure he wouldn't be happy if another magazine re-published some of Tiki Magazine's articles without payment or credit.

I can't speak for Tiki-Bot, but my husband Krustiki has spent thousands of dollars on camera equipment, and spends hours taking photos and then editting and posting them. He probably puts alomst as much creative effort into his photos as some of the carvers and artists in this forum. Many Tiki Central photographers will post pictures for the free enjoyment of our friends, but if they are good enough to be published in a for-profit venture, they deserves a photo credit.
