I've been secretly reading the posts on TC for a couple of years and figure it's time to make myself known! I'm Laura, AKA tiki carver extraordinaire (at least in my mind). I'm a housewife turned carver going on 3 years. I've sold my pieces to garden shops, at craft shows, on Ebay and recently attended Hukilau in Ft. Lauderdale. While I've scaled back the amount of chainsaw carving I'm doing (I'm getting a little to old to be throwing those 200 lb. logs around!), I'm looking forward to the carving seminar this spring in Tennessee. Any other girly carvers going?? Any other girly carvers out there????????
