Musta been 1995. I was staying at the Circus Circus with my ex-girlfriend and some other friends we met up there. One of them said, 'look how cool that place is, we should stay there next time'. Anyway, when I saw the title to this thread I knew exactly what you were talking about. I hope this place doesn't meet the wrecking ball. I'm getting a little tired of seeing these really cool mid-century buildings biting the dust. As if these new ones they put up are cooler. NOT! I can just see how these developers look down their noses at something like La Concha as passe' and envision their new ridiculous looking oppressive glass boxes as being 'cutting edge'.
