Not to worry about the "retired" doubles in my garden. For one thing, they have heinous glaze mistakes. Unfixable. But the MAIN thing to look for is the bottom of said mugs. You see, to keep them from holding rainwater and becoming mosquito breeding grounds, I've drilled holes in the bottom of them. SOOOOO, in the future, if you ever get a questionable mug, look for these telltale markings and you might get a clue as to their history. Thank you for your concern. But other than that, yeah, I've kept detailed accounts of every mug we've ever made. Feel free to reach me with any questions. -Joe
