I like really really ancient bars. Older the better. No big.

The Pyramid was a hotspot for the revival and creativity of the off-broadway movement of the early '80s, it was the original proving ground for at least 5 shows that are still going. That led to the current Boffo-Broadway scene, important if you like it or not.

It was just really influential, there's no way to measure it, and few people credit it.

And Area was simply the best club I've ever been to, way ahead of its time.
