Tiki Central / General Tiki / we need membership cards

The point (as I see it, I realize I'm a newbie here, though) is to get a core community to support this forum, tiki events, and other group stuff. These things cost money. You can either charge $$$ at the door or for individual events or items,and pray that you have enough money in ticket sales to pay the guest speakers, performers, etc... or you can have a baseline of guaranteed money in memberships to use to fund these things partially in advance. Tiki Kiliki is the resident expert here on events planning I'd defer to her knowledge on the subject.
In some of my other clubs we use collected membership $$$ to put out a yearly book or calendar ( I think a TC Ohana members calendar is a great idea. how about art and recipes? ) Some of the membership money could also be used to pay for guest speakers or performers at Hukilau or other core events.

My personal idea is a Custom TC Ohana Tiki Mug inscribed with your own TC nickname to be brought to and used at events.
We had customized tankards at my local watering hole years ago, all the regulars got one (once they drank all the 120 different beers which the bar served), it was customized with a hand painted nickname, and hung on a hook over the bar for you when not in use.
