It was a gift from TGap; a wafer-thin slice of New Zealand pounamu/ nephrite jade prepared as a microscope slide. I intend to take it to the local Polytechnic which hosts the jade course & see if they can arrange a microscope to view it. The old Macro-scope just doesnt quite get there... Thanks Gap!! I forgot to ask if you viwed it yourself? (approx 2/3mm thick) *Ill keep it in the 'wotnot' box in the meantime & it can be another stopping point on the regular workshop-tours I host, heehee Thanks again! Tama :)
