Hi Pd
I've read the posts on Rockhound, quite alarming, I can't speak for them but for me it's early days.
I would love a proper setup but in the UK these machines are few and far between and when they do come up they are really expensive ( I saw a trimsaw recently for £240 at a gem fair) perhaps one day, but for my budget the machine has coped admirably. If I was a pro I don't think I would choose this setup, as always something will suffer if you get one machine to do the work of four.
I have read the instructions very carefully and use the machine well within it's capacity. So far so god and I'm well pleased with it.
Also my next door neighbour recommended the company who have the UK franchise. They are highly regarded in the glass industry and over here have supplied many government departments (schools, universities etc) because of the flexibility of the product.
I can see one or two problem areas if you were to push the machine. The water drain is quite small and needs watching, but not a real issue, the arbour needs slight lubrication, steel+water etc etc, in order to keep in tip top condition.
In all I used my machine for 15 hours last weekend covering all disciplines, almost non stop with no probs.
Oh by the way, this is not an advert for Inland
Regards
Flynny
