I'm a long-time lurker here and at LottaLiving, and figured it was time to finally get a username and start participating. I'm from West Virginia, not exactly a Tiki mecca, but I've been collecting tikis ever since I was about 14 (while on a trip to Hawaii), and I keep finding myself coming back to tikis in my sketches, carvings, and paintings. Wait, guess I should mention that I'm an artist (graphic design, oil paint, tattoo flash, and carving)! Look forward to getting involved on here, especially with the Collecting and Creating forums, as well as doing my part to really preserve the place that tiki holds in the history of mid-century living.
