The deal just got EVEN MORE SUPERSWEET!
Squid sent me a picture of this gem he found....
He is donating it to the Raffle! It contains a FULL-ON Moai come to life story (someome posted
the pages somewhere here on TC i think!) I think it's one of them Marvel Comic 70's Horror comics that reprinted 4-5 misc stories culled from their archives...The cover looks contemporary with the art of that period-but not of the stories inside(Jack Kirby cover...maybe Romita doing the inking????
My favorite kirby inkers are Joe Sinnot and Vince Colleta!)
The story is illustrated by Kirby
and is a reprint from ...?
