Aloha Folks!
Been spinning getting ready for Saturday Night at the Tonga Hut! i created a bunch of goodies for it so i thought i'd share them and then skeedaddle back to the last minute preparations for tomorrow......I'll reply after i land next week! Mahalos for all the encouragement and fun you bring!
First off,for no apparent reason than to have something fun for the show, i whipped out these 4 embellished mugs ...they're tiki farm open line mugs that Holden provided with a custom decal last year for my "Talking Palms and Pineapple Kings" exhibit last year...They were a freebie for patrons and not available without bringin some art home! So needless to say, a whole set of these is a rare bird,with the decal and embellishment and all...Oh! my buddy Marcus Pizzuti is the gent who sculpted him! great guy! Ask him anything..i bet he knows the answer!
Anyways....here they is....

next is "the keeper of the Flame" a Ku!

next up is my favorite..."the Mystic" a cook islands fisherman god..

and last is "the watcher" a Moai

Also finished up these lil guys for the Tonga Hut...
