About a year ago I won a bid on a Tiki mug on ebay. Real bargain.... won it for something like 2.99. Of course, shortly after the auction closed, I get an email from the seller basically saying "oops.... cat knocked it off the counter.... shattered to bits.... sorry" If these sellers want a certain price, they should either put up a reserve, or put up a higher starting bid. In the future, I'd ask for proof of the damage, or face getting negative feedback. :tiki: Trader Pup [ Edited by: Traderpup on 2002-07-06 12:58 ] |
