I've got the official (and expensive) tiki book recommended enroute and can’t wait to get started. I’ve been fascinated with tiki from my first exposure when I was young at the Disney World Tiki room. I it is a shame how they have butchered it with Gilbert Gotfried. (At least the Disneyland one is intact.) My reasons for joining are a bit selfish as I don’t have much to share. I'm starting a basement redesign and building project in which I hope to incorporate a number of the ideas located here into the design and decoration. Perhaps someday I’ll be recognized as a “Grand Polynesian Place of Tiki” or at least I ‘ll know what it means. [ Edited by: millerz1897 2008-01-13 06:55 ]
