Wow, that learning curve was incredibly fast. FANTASTIC work, I'm really looking forward to trying some harder woods than the sabal palm we have so much of.

Thanks a million for sharing your trials and tribulations. Reading through this thread really brought me a lot of pointers that I can carry with me to the next carving sessions.

The pieces look very symetrical, and like you were in control of any unforeseen situations. Great works!
