Diggin on both the drawing and study!
bone eater....haha
I like what you did on the first one
using the gouache as a highlight....
did quite a few of those with a dark ground
and used a naples yellow for the hi-light and discovered
Chiaroscuro!!!!!!!!!
(Italian for clear-dark)
it's a trip how much volume the figure can reveal with just a little bit!
The crosshatching in the mouth I'm really diggin too!
As for the bone-eater on this page....
I like how he has his whole surplus of food layed out!
Also the style is evocative of Mark Marek
with the looseness and rawness
and just damn plain FUN!
