Here's some shocking news:

Chuck Purrington of Kona has been given notice to vacate the premises immediately.

Chuck has vowed to keep Kona open until the doors are padlocked, but the doors will probably close after the 21st.

There are a couple of parties interested in purchasing the property, but there is no way to know when this will happen.

Chuck recently spoke to the son of the owner who transformed Sam's into a Tiki Palace, including installing the swordfish sign, and he seemed interested in bringing back Sam's.

So this means the art show is on hold for now, until things get resolved. Hopefully, the restaurant will endure, and the show can be rescheduled, or we can have an RIP Sam's/Kona show in another location (a worse case scenario that I hope won't happen!)
