Seeks - chocolate? Must be the red wall behind the table I was shooting on. He's a mid/darkish grey, but I find these beach stones very hard to capture on camera accurately. Thanks for the comps !

Ellly: Yes! I studied Renaissance and Baroque sculpture as my final level in "Rock School". I totally dig Michelangelo's work and although my skills are light years away from what those guys did, I can incorporate some of their approach and philosophy to my work. I've done a couple of pieces directly influenced by the imprisoned figures and I always work within the natural form of these stones where I can.
Keep rolling with the rocks, share your work and post any questions in the stone carving thread. Tama and I don't post as much these days but if you're patient you'll find what you're seeking. Ben probably knows about as much as either of us now anyway :)
