Well, I guess it's time to sweep off the dust and cobwebs on this thread once again! Here's a new one I started last month. This is about a 5 1/2' piece of loblolly pine. It's from one of the neighbor's trees knocked down in Hurricane Ike. I have a couple like this from my own trees waiting in line. This pic at the bottom is the neighbor's house where the log came from, though not one of the trees pictured.
