Unbeknownst to you, they actually chased off a homeless encampment outside the far corner of the parking lot. The homeless guys had tools such as crowbars and wire cutters. I'm glad I had several uniformed, armed, security guards on duty after hearing that.

That alone is enough to keep the Security just like you had it this year. With all the band equipment, vendor goods, and people's personal stuff there is in cars, the fact that a potential robbery was thwarted makes me think that your choice for security was a good one. I don't care about seeing guys in uniforms, it makes me more comfortable, personally. I say keep the uniforms, I think it deters incidents.

Other than the registration line thing, I can't complain at all. How you pull off an event of this magnitude is a bit of a miracle.
