Ken,
Thanks for the Easter goodies... you continue to inspire and just plain make me smile when I look at your work!
BTW, I have shown my Tribe (that's my 6 kiddos) your work on this thread and they are all blown away. My oldest just turned 13 and my youngest are 6 year old twins... They have been drawing tikis and leaving them on my desk :) One of the Tribe's all-time favorites from you is the octopus-squid-seahorse surfboard... the kids loved it! They also love your 'birdmen'... I forget what you call them, orongo or something like that?

Thank YOU,Jason
for your enthusiasm and warmth!
6 kids!?!?
that's a handful!
Thanks for sharing!
Looks like a few of them have already caught the art bug...
to pursue art with the unbridled mind of a child
with all that wonder and magic.... :)
too cool!
I'll try to get the orongo/birdman theme posted up here for the chillens soon...
They were inspired by the carvings on Easter Island..
and evolved into an imaginary world of their own...
and maybe some tentacled thingies...
been updating work from 89 up
and a lot of the files are corrupted
been trying to rescue them
just so there's a record
and i don't do the same piece twice!

Still recovering from all the tomfoolery...
