There is going to be an estate sale in the hood 20th - 22nd. Here is the link to the sale:

What makes this one special, and heartbreaking, is the house is a one-owner mod that is one of the coolest in the neighborhood. It has been bought by a neighbor who has little or no appreciation for the original style. It has the pink appliances without a scratch on them, the poured terrazzo is great, the original baths, the hardware, light fixtures, it is all a time warp of high mod style. The house has been photographed often and we commonly call it the "sputnik" house due to the custom made front light. There is a picture of the front of the house on this National Trust blog:

I don't know what the new buyer's intentions are for the property, but there has already been discussions of a need to remodel the kitchen. I don't know if they plan on holding it as a rental or "updating" it and flipping it. It is worth going just to see the house.
