I think the article was pretty good considering it was written by a reporter that is supposed to be objective, and was kind enough to spend time talking with our friend in the first place. In general, the article does raise awareness for what's happening on the Mainland among people in Hawaii who already live a lot of the stuff we're about. Also, I think the things he wrote about Gecko were positive too. My only complaint is he missed our desire to preserve Polynesian pop culture sites like old tiki bars and restaurants, but it's fair to observe we do go off in some fairly odd directions on this site -- and that may be why he missed much of what the core is about. Anyway, great job Gecko. I know lots of people who are not comfortable speaking to reporters (like some of the highly-compensated executives in the company I work for), so here's a hearty toast to Gecko Tiki; Polynesian Pop's advance man in the islands!
