James, many of the images/stories on show at the Easter Island exhibit here in London (http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=38338&forum=4&5) would have probably covered similar research to yours - I look forward to reading your book and comparing, and reminding myself of the great time I spent amongst the giants on Rapa nui a few years ago.
