Since very few of the drinks in Appendix II of Remixed (new recipes from the Tiki revival) are listed in the Grogazlier, I thought it might make sense to start some discussion on those drinks.

So far I've sampled seven. Following are my ratings and a few comments:

Cuzco Fizz - 8
Velo - 8
Beachbum - 6
Vava Voom - 4
Voyager - 4
Beachbum's Arrival - 2
Pamplemousse Punch - 2

I just recently purchased my first bottle of St. Germain elderflower liquor and I'm really digging it. The Cuzco Fizz and Velo both put it to great use, are relatively simple to make and yet are very creative and exotic. Let it also be noted that neither is rum-based.

Full disclosure: I used a generic apricot brandy instead of Rothman & Winter so I may not be giving the Beachbum a fair shake. A very solid drink nonetheless. Vava Voom and Voyager just didn't feel well-balanced to my palate. And the last two totally fell flat.

Has anyone else delved into the non-Beachbum drinks in Remixed?
