Thanks very much. He is now finished and I just have to get around to getting a decent camera and upload the finished pics. He is just under 1 metre in height. I tried staining it with a Jarrah stain but because the palm is so light it didn't actually come out very dark (more of a burnt orange colour). I am going to see if I can get a darker stain and see how that turns out.
