Preparing Palm Logs?!?!?! - Tiki Carving

I have them all elevated on bricks and I keep the fan on in the garage to keep the air moving. Is this a good way to dry them out? I think I remember reading somewhere that they need to be off the ground with a little breathing room...anyway..thanks again and to all a great weekend!
