the kids see more skin at the pool than on the stage.... just sayin.... maybe they shouldnt swim after 10 am???? ITS A FAMILY EVENT PEOPLE!!! i remember going to hawaii as a kid in the 70's , and all of the shows with hula girls and savage dancers were also family events. talk about seeing a lot of skin. and with coconut bras and guys with merely enough grass to cover the ass! or people rocking banana hammocks!!! this thread reminds me of one i read along time ago referring to how kids shouldnt be able to run around in disneyland, and parents should really keep them on a short leash!!! its disneyland!!! its fun for kids!!! tiki oasis is also fun for kids!!! my son talks about it all year and tells all his friends about it, and its OUR vacation together! again my son is generally in the room by 9pm anyhow, but trying to make this a 21 and up show will demolish a major number of repeat customers and allow more of the unwanted guests to occupy space!!! "BABY THE WORLD AINT ROUND , ITS SQUARE!!!"

Gonna go with Sleestak on this one. For everyone who has complaints... I'm sure they are being noted. As far as the event goes... it rules. If the event remains the same as it has been for many years now, and the things that people are disagreeing on haven't changed for the people complaining, and they don't change I would suggest not attending. If things do bug you, deal with it. I'm so tired of watching people work so hard to make an event go well just to have others nit-pick anything that they don't agree with. Look, you all know what the event is. You know what to expect. If someone has a problem with the way I deal with my children please express it to me directly and I will gladly do my best to prove that there is no negative impact being made. Like I said before I understand both sides of the argument. People are just going to have to agree to disagree without name calling or getting mad. If a dancer isn't comfortable then maybe she shouldn't perform. Everyone should, by now, know what they are in for. I had a wonderful time at Tiki Oasis. My family had a great time as well. Otto and Baby Doe and all the volunteers kicked serious butt. I want to express how great it is getting to see so many people every year that I don't get to see otherwise.
All this drama is pointless. Let's focus on the positive. After all we're here for a good time, not a long time.
Peace with every step.

I also wanted to add that Sandra Dee's opinion in her post on Kids is pretty damn smart. Added this which caused an edit.
