I really wanted to hate this new band. You see, there is a very popular band here called "the hula girls" and the imagery for this new band seems a little to similar....BUT...I found myself actually enjoying the music quite a bit. Probably because the guitar player is really good. The music is very dark, sparse and well done with a good attention to ambience. http://www.facebook.com/thehulagirls |
