thanks for quoting me,

I think that anybody could pick out good and bad parts of any decade.
its just how they made it thru that decade that colors them.

For me, growing up poor in crappy apartments
and not having much, made me think it sucked.

I guess there is cool stuff from then.
Some of my favorite metal/hard rock is from then.

and all the horrible stuff mentioned by you guys in the 80s,
I was a teen in school, new it all sucked and stayed away from it all.
