Enjoy an ice cold rum cocktail and listen to bands that you will likely never have the chance to see live again. Headlining the Smorgasboard is EL RAY, from Copenhagen, Denmark, making their USA premier at the Forbidden Island. The band is known for causing (real) crowd surfing at it's gigs. They're latest album is called "Highwave to Hell" and they are one of the standout bands on the recent "Brave New Surf" compilation. Dressed like 70's swingers and rockin' the wah-wah on many songs, the grooves inspiring the crowd to sway like lithium was in the air. Los Venturas new album, "Kaleydoskop" will be available for this, their second, US tour.
