Aloha!

Ok, I got a few shots in on what I hope to be somewhat of a tutorial on a smaller Basswood panel.

11 X 9 X 2.5 in

Sketched:

Now, using a course Typhoon 1 in sphere, taking out all but, the detail areas

Using a 1/2 in course Typhoon, we get yet closer to the details

Then I switch to the 1/8 drive motor using an even smaller sphere to dig out more details.

Then various small 1/8 in typhoons to pick off the details starting with what is intended to be the "Near" and then the "far". Everything is cut with depth in mind.

Then of course, sanding....

I generally spray the piece down in order to get all of the dust out of it and to let me know where to sand once dry again.

I have about 45 mins left on this panel

Hope this helps

Mahalo
