I know there is a 1948 edition and I can understand the Beachcomber 1934 Zombie being twaeked and reinterpreted and mutated into Duffy's version over the course of 14 years, but I have a harder time believing that Duffy's very out there Zombie was printed in a cocktail book the very same year Donn first concocted the drink. I understand that with Donn's secretiveness regarding his recipes that imitator's versions are going to be all over the map as far as the presumptive ingredients, but it just seems too uncannily timely for Duffy to have published such a far-removed recipe the same year Donn introduced his.
