I live in the Arizona desert but pretty much live and breathe the island lifestyle. My backyard is an island oasis...in progress. I have built 2 decks complete with palapas, carved tikis of which there are 14 at last count. Since I lean towards the artistic side, I have started self teaching myself the art of slip tiki mug making. I've recently taken webdesign classes so that when I find time to stop carving, tiki mug making and what ever else comes to mind, I will create a website. The image below a logo that I designed for...Tiki Republic. A special thanks to Doug Horne for introducing me to Tiki Magazine awhile back. For awhile there, being in Arizona had me thinking that I was a fish outta water with whole retro island lifestyle thing. The first tiki mug I am working on is almost ready and is my logo come to life.
