But after more thought, I bet it would get very brittle in the sun. :( But maybe if the plastic is covered with fabric, it may last longer. The price is certainly acceptable for 18 of them...but after spending time making them, it would be nice to get at least a few years out of them.

I thought you made yours with the acrylic tube you posted?
