But, I don't think that locking topics because they either have been discussed before or they aren't interesting to some people is necessary or helpful. I understand the complaints about the myriad of non-tiki posts lately but I don't think much can (or should) be done about it because people are going to discuss what they feel interests them, and everyone has different interests. As long as it stays in Beyond Tiki it's fine with me. It would be a shame if some contributors stopped participating but perhaps those folks have set their expectations a bit too high for this forum. There are going to be times when there is a lot of useful information here about tiki past and present, and there will be times when there isn't. I can give numerous examples of good relevant threads that have been posted lately: the posts on underdocumented tiki, underrated tiki, etc. I have noticed the search engine improvements. Thank you Hanford for those and other recent changes here. |
