For example, let me tell you about Nikola Tesla sometime, and how he was awarded the patents for the invention of radio when they were stripped from Guglielmo Marconi by the US Supreme Court. I could regale you for hours, twirling my (non-existent) handlebar mustache the whole time. The next time I see hipsters in my fave bar, I'll raise a glass to 'em -- even if they're too cool to acknowledge in return due to my relative un-coolness.
