One of the more recent posts by Sven showed a carving that i fell in love with and thought would make a great mug. It's taken nearly a year to get around to it, and it is still not completely finished, but here is my mug version of one of the carvings found at the Kona Pali apartments. The original pic Sven posted alongside my carving which a mold was made from. And the first six mugs poured and bisque fired. There is more information about this mug and what i called it in my thread. Andrea, i hope i did your dad's (or Richard Ellis's) work justice.
