There are a lot of different styles that you can use as inspiration. You have a PNW mask as part of your signature so you could design your place to look like a vintage explorers library with items from around the world.
Even though I live in Southern California I find most of my items online because I like weird stuff, nautical, curiosities, real Micronesian and Polynesian art mixed in with the tiki kitsch. I also have a knack for finding cheap, quality tribal art online because it's frequently labeled incorrectly. It would take a lot of time driving around So Cal to decorate in the style that I have.
I would assume Vancouver has some vintage nautical shops. Nautical and tiki goes great together.
