Plus if we did follow What cocktail and liquor inventions of the Polynesians that would be Kava root chewed up and spit into a big bowl that everyone would then share, gross! The yeast in the spit would help ferment the Kava and make a booze of sorts. Some tribes drink it every night so says Going tribal TV show. This may be where the mystery bowl idea came from, only with the Polynesian mystery bowl it was more of a "what virus or disease am I going to get from this"?
