He falls in love with the lovely Raquel Torres, sobers up, and decides that he's found paradise on earth, but a boatload of pearl traders shows up and ruins everything. Filmed entirely on location in Tahiti and filled with stunning cinematography. There's one tiki in the film, a stone carving that hides the islands stash of pearls.
