As far as Thrift store specific (versus general finds from any sources), my favorite haul in the past year was 6 "Peanut mugs". They are classic PMP's with no restaurant branding (unfortunately), but flawless otherwise.

Of course they are not worth much, nor too exotic... but the fact that all 6 were sitting there on a shelf at the very sleepy little local Missionary Thrift Shoppe for $2 each was fun. At the time I didn't have any peanut mugs either.

When I brought them up to the counter the elderly clerk said "Hallelujah, these are finally leaving the shop". I laughed and asked her how long they had been there and she said "Oh, we put them out yesterday, but they are so ugly they scared us, so we were hoping they would sell fast. What are they, anyway?"

Rather than try to explain at even a high level the whole Tiki mug/culture thing, I just said they were fun backyard BBQ drink mugs. She sniffed and said nothing more.
