The chords are the same, but the "shapes" play different chords. A "C" chord shape(first string, third fret) on the soprano is a "G" on the Baritone. You could capo a Baritone at the fourth fret and play it like a soprano, but to play soprano sheet music on a baritone, (and have it sound "right") you would need to transpose it.
