I'll chime in with the others to say that "The Book of Tiki" is the most comprehensive history of the culture for anyone who is doing anything Tiki--I've had it for some months now, and I've noticed that it is so VERY dense with historical and pictorial detail that it's impossible to simply "read through it" and get everything.

Each bite takes a bit of mental chewing, and the whole thing can only be absorbed over a period of time. It appears to have been designed to work this way! Calm down, open a bottle, and take it slow, folks.

Truly it gives you your money's worth, and substantially more...
