I forgot to ask, but since this is a new venture for me, any input, pro or con, is appreciated. I have thick skin and don't hold a grudge so don't hold back. Ideas for future strips are also welcome. Thanks. [ Edited by: Raffertiki on 2004-07-01 06:30 ] |

Love it Raffertiki. I was wondering if there was going to be an august. I'm not sure which one I like the best, they're allso good. I think you should make it a 4 box strip and sell it to the news papers syndicate, or whoever those guys are. |

Raffertiki, I'm just waiting for old hulk-tiki to finally impress one of the ladies - he's been lurking around, dropping tiki mugs and being a loner way too long! |

Thanks Ben & Sam. Ben, I can only handle one a month right now. Syndication with have to wait until the ideas start rolling in faster. Sam, the Beachcomber's troubles are going to continue into the next installment. He'll have to wait a bit before he gets lucky. |

The Beachcomber is still in a rut when it comes to women. Like Sam G. says, he's due for a break. Maybe next time. This one was inspired by a thread here on TC from a few months ago, but I can no longer find it. |

I didn't think I'd get this one in in time, but now I can take my vacation in England without worries, mate. I will probably be scarce for the rest of the month. I took Sam G's advice this time to cut the beachcomber a little slack. Have fun in Fla all you Hukalites. [ Edited by: Raffertiki on 2004-09-16 17:11 ] |

Have a great trip, raffertiki. I just got back from visiting with Hurricane Ivan, so I just saw the last installment of MOTM today. It's great! Finally, our man has the ladies riveted with his musical talents! My idea for the next one is an encore with him doing a hauntingly beautiful ukelele rendition of "Smoke On the Water". |

Great stuff as always Raff. I loved the video of the drink being made, you could do a whole DVD of drink recipes that way, but I think after the 3 or 4 I would probably not be able to read the screen anymore. |

You know Toa- you could be on to something there! You know how there are cooking shows? Why not a drink mixology show? Here's how we could approach it... Why not make a compilation DVD where members of Tiki central share their favourite drink recipe (original or vintage creations) in their tiki bar? Each person could get like, 3 minutes to show off their bar and then share how to make their libation. Members would be encouraged to keep their delivery full of Fun and Chutzpah. Hey, I'd buy it. |

A compilation DVD sounds awesome, but I already have enough projects waiting to get the attention of publishers and/or producers. I hope one of you guys take up this idea, and runs with it. I will even help out with some clips. In the meantime, I will continue to post random tikified footage in a most laidback fashion. I'm thinking a clip of the Fishermen at Otto's Shrunken Head is a possibility. |

Ben, It's kind of like Charlie Brown never kicking the football. The Beachcomber lives on the ocean, and hangs at tiki bars. He doesn't have it so bad. I like your positive thinking Sam, like making a Pina Colada out of pineapple juice. Dec. 1 he gets to go snorkeling. What could possibly happen? |
