Another cool one Raffer. I guess they didn't notice the "Don't feed the tiki" sign?
:) :) :)

Ben, I'm thinking, if anyone could rig a tiki whose mouth closes, just enough, when someone sticks their head in its mouth, it's you. And of course they would be more than happy to pay you to get them unstuck. They wouldn't even know it was rigged. :)

I'm trying something a little different. I think it will give me more flexibilty for storytelling. Let me know if you like.

Multi panels! ....and I couldn't think of a better guy to "clock" than Tom Cruise. Cool stuff Raffer, and it's nice to see that the beachcomber is still up to his old tricks!

Hey Sam!

The Beachcomber will be crossing paths with a number of celebrities in the story. Should be fun. Thanks.

What has the Beachcomber stepped in this time?

Hey, Jessica....... Will the beachcomber get lucky???

It depends on what you mean by "lucky."

Happy 4th everyone!

Check out the new strip at http://www.maroonedonthemainland.com

A new Marooned strip featuring Tom Cruise, Sergio Limon, and the Beachcomber is live. I'm really digging the multi-panel format. Anyone? Bueller?

Our Beachcomber about to become a Movie Star? Heaven Help us. Excellent story you are building, can't wait for MORE!

Hey Ben,

Hopefully there will be a few surprizes in store. I'm off to Virginia Beach soon, so you may have to wait a little longer for the next update after this one. Thanks for the comps.

These are fine and funny. You have a great thing going there...

Thanks Gordon,

Just back from vacation (with no computer access), or I'd of replied sooner. More surprises and celebrities to come.

Now I can go to Oasis with a clear conscience! See you there.

How do you guys feel about me dragging celebrities into the storyline?

http://www.maroonedonthemainland.com/

I like seeing the celebs in these! Great to see them in Tiki Mag too.

Thanks Sam! A new one is coming up soon. I just had a minor setback. No biggy.

Hey everyone!

I first have to apologize for being so scarce around here lately. There is a lot going on in my life including some significant changes in lifestyle. Hopefully I'll have more time soon to be a more active member once again.

It was never comfortable to me to have Marooned on the Mainland stuck in the "other crafts" forum as I wasn't really looking for creative feedback in the way that I might with one of my carvings or paintings. I was just trying to inform you all on updates. I am not complaining, in fact I am glad for the forum that TC did provide.

So to keep up with your favorite beachcomber's latest and future exploits you will have to remember on your own to check http://www.maroonedonthemainland.com or become a myspace pal and get bulletins at http://www.myspace.com/buff8

All the best and maybe I will see you at Hukilau though it will be a last minute decision if I go.

Thanks for your support!

Good to hear from ya, Raffer!
