tonga hut tiki night! *saturday, june 30th!*

Summer time is officially here!

Start the season off right by celebrating with us at the Tonga Hut Saturday June 30th!

We will be premiering the fabulous new summer additions to the Tonga Hut Drink menu-be the first on your block to enjoy:

The TONGA LEI -created by our own PiPhiRho!
The GINGER FLAME -created by Bartender Suzy (me!)
The SQUIRREL IN PARADISE -c'mon, you know your curious. . .!
The SUM TING WONG -but oh-so-right!
The SATURN- It will put you in orbit!

We will also be doing some fun tiki trivial all night long for great prizes (mostly of the liquid variety!) :)

We will also have one of our fine DJ's for your dancing and auditory pleasures.

To go along with the summertime fun and tasty new drink specials. . .
We will be screening the movie classics 'How to Stuff a Wild Bikini' and 'Psycho Beach Party'

and yes. . .the tiki trivia may very well include some tidbits from these cinematic gems. . .:)

Looks like the Good Doctor and Sabu will be coming by tonight, and we may be bringing TikiCutie along with us (hard to say at this point - it's nearly 6:00 and she's still hung over from last night!) Believe it or not, this will actually be my first visit to the TH, and I'm a-lookin' forward to another Ginger Flame (or three!)

Sooooo sorry to have been elsewhere, but it was me birthday, an' I was accosted by highly mischievious Demented Menehunes, who had other nefarious plans for my imperilment.

But, in those last few moments I can more or less clearly remember, I remember my heart was at the Tonga. Next year maybe I'll either avoid, or co-opt the little ambushers, and get to where I know I can get a decent Planet Of The Apes.
