That might cover the FREAKOUT aspect....
contact Squiddles!

Or you could contact The Jab, he was spinning some swell Euro Pop last night at the Forbidden Island International Flight Lounge.

How about a nice tropical print hood

R

hey artists,
I am assuming that this show will be mostly tiki and not much surf and or Hotrod right?

So I am assuming that I should bring more exotica, and lounge, and just a tid bit of surf.

whaddya think?

B

nice one sophisto!

BTD, thanks for spinning the tunes again!

for music mix, what you did last time was great. that will work ,but if you want, mix in some other stuff as suggested. not sure what the hell "60's italian go go" sounds like, but if squid likes it, i'm in.

alohas, Toe-surf

PS; Ravennes sublime 'baby' flyer is going on my myspace page.

Great lookin Painting Dawn!
FREAKOUT!

T

BTD , wear a beekeepers mask . You can see through it and if you play the wrong stuff , it will protect you too . Maybe we need chicken wire covering the loft as well .
Ravenne, That baby pic is a total freakout . I hate when people have a tiki bar and I see that same Party World generic tiki everywhere . I wish I drew it though . That guy is making bank on people who just dont get it .

Sounds like fun! See you there Wildsville Man!!! WooooHooooooOOOOoooooo!

Humm weres the SQUIRRLES

E

You guys are crackin me up! It looks like LLT has been on a tear lately with all these flyers.. Just a couple weeks away Im already looking forward to the opening, and all of the surprises we'll have in store for our guests! With Big Tiki Dude laying down the exotic tunes on vinyl, it'll be just like happy hour on an enchanted island.

We have a special swamp monster wrestling mask you can wear BTD so you'll feel right at home!

Peep's of Wildsville,
to look at the New and Un-named art from Robb Hamel that will be for view and Sale at Tiki Freakoutgo to
http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic=27640&forum=18&start=180
Robb was nice enough to send us some art for view and Sale. If you look at most of Robb's art you can see it sells before he even finishes them,so to send us something was very special.

Now sit down and read something!!!

See you Freaks later!!!!!!!! DIG?

Big Tiki Dood>

yes play us some disco's heheh. I actually have a disco version of
"pipeline" on vinyl that has surely rocked many a dancefloors from 54 to the Light Gallery! Maybe we'll save that for next month's Surf themed show hint hint Anyways bring a nice variety of music, from lounge to tribal to Tiki Freakbeat. I will dig out some records out of my collection for you to play that'll be sure to crack a smile on the most stone faced of Maoi heads! The submissions I've seen so far have me Freekin out in anticipation for the opening! Hodad Hank's Tiki is certainly a jaw dropper!

Mark your calendars, two weeks away.. 7/19/2008

RH

Thanks, Wildsville Man, I guess I'd better post my pics with their names here:

"First Moonrise" - this moai has just been erected (uh-oh!), and is all new and gleamy.

"Tiki Vignette 1" - this one isn't dry, but I got a pic anyway.

Llt's posters are too cool - but how many is he gonna do??????

B

Bruddas Hodad Hank and Hamel, aweome stuff! i am officially GEEKED for this show!

oh and on LLT, the rule of thumb for Kinny's number of flyers and paintings is one too many.

finally, i just finished carving a wall-hanger tiki for the show...had a blast. will post tomorrow when varnish dries. i hoped i dont get ripped too heavily for doing finish work with a dremel! :D

alohas, toe-bone

Check out this Original from David Calver for the Freakout!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about you but I'm freaked out!!!!!

MAN!
What a Line-up dis is gonna be!
Man! I wanna see Big toe's carving!
and Robb's black velvets!
and Horne's drawings!
and Bab's lapatikis!
and some Sam Gam pieces!
and Hodadhank's Ultratang!
and Clysdalle's Jester Tiki!
etc! etc!
stoked to be amongst such worthy talent!

here's my offerings to FREAK the FUNK outta all y'all!
"Guardians of the Plumeria"

and just recently back from their debut at the mModern...
"Night Journey"

"the Magical Tiki Tree"

and "the Family Tree"

all suitable entries for a FREAKOUT i presume!

Kinny,
That stuff reeks of AWESOMENESS!!!!!!! If you get a chance my friends of Tiki Central please check out http://tikiblog.typepad.com/ to see the nice article they wrote about our little gathering.

GOT ROOT?

This is one of Doug Hornes pieces for the show!!!!!!!!!
